Swedish Massage

Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility. Therapeutic Massage

Deep Tissue Massage is a form of bodywork that aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body. Deep Tissue Massage is a highly effective method for releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. Due to the nature of the deep tissue work, open communication during the session is crucial to make sure you don't get too uncomfortable. Keep in mind that soreness is pretty common after the treatment, and that plenty of water should be ingested to aid with the flushing and removal of toxins that will have been released from the deep tissue during the session. Prenatal/Fertility Massage

Prenatal Massage is a style of bodywork designed specifically for pregnant women. Pregnancy is a time when a woman's body endures tremendous stress due to dramatic physical and emotional changes. Using various techniques specially developed for the expecting mother, Prenatal Massage helps release the pain and discomfort experienced throughout pregnancy. Fertility Massage is a pre-pregnancy massage that helps prepare the body for the pregnancy journey.

Reflexology

Reflexology is a type of bodywork that focuses on applying pressure to the specific nerve zones in your feet and hands. Unlike other foot massages that intend to mostly relieve tension in the feet themselves, reflexology is a far more in-depth science that aims to harmonize your entire body. According to reflexology, every part of the human body is mapped into your feet and hands. Reflexology treatments have been found to be highly effective for conditions such as allergies, headaches, and depression. Reflexology massage can be done as its own session or added onto any massage service and includes the use of hot towels and aromatherapy if you so choose.

Cupping

Cupping is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which cups with suction are applied to the skin. Cupping creates a negative pressure on the skin/body that can encourage blood flow, loosen tight muscles and relax the nervous system. It can be used to relieve pain such as back, shoulder, neck, sciatic pain, stiff/sore muscles, migraine relief, anxiety, fatigue and even assist in breaking up cellulite. You can book a cupping session or add this service onto an existing massage service.

Hot Stone Therapy

Hot Stone Therapy is a style of massage where heated stones are placed at specific sites on your body to deepen relaxation and promote circulation in your muscles. Muscles that are heated with these stones release tension and stress much more deeply and quickly than with a traditional massage. The overall experience is very relaxing, nurturing, and rejuvenating. Hot stones can be added to any massage service upon request.

Massages should include a healthy dose of lotion. Literally. So we developed lotions that are paraben and sulfate free.

In-office Cancellation Policy

In-office appointments with Anchor Wellness & Aesthetics must be canceled 24 hours before your appointment time. At the time of booking a credit card is required to be on file. No payment will be due until the conclusion of services rendered. Patients who do not make their appointment or do not cancel within the required 24-hour timeframe will be charged a $50 cancellation fee. Anchor Wellness & Aesthetics is committed to meeting the needs of our patients within our community. Without advanced notice of rescheduling, or simply not showing up for scheduled appointments, it eliminates our ability to treat other patients in those time slots. Both a reminder email and a reminder text will be sent to all patients well before the 24-hour cancellation window to aid patients in avoiding this fee. We thank you for your understanding.
